Meet the Founder,

Maddie Blumberg

Hello!

Orange Blossom Retreats was created from a simple idea: creativity should feel approachable, restorative, and joyful.

Art can simply be a way to slow down.
A way to reconnect with yourself.
A way to be present.

Some of the most meaningful moments happen when we allow ourselves to create without pressure, expectations, or the need to be good at it. Painting for fun, journaling thoughts onto paper, arranging flowers, making collages, writing poetry, these small creative practices can become grounding rituals that help us feel calmer, lighter, and more connected to ourselves.

I believe that creativity and hobbies have a beautiful way of bringing people together. There’s something special about sitting around a table with people who are all creating, learning, laughing, and trying something new together. Art opens the door to genuine connection, not through perfection or performance, but through shared experience, curiosity, and vulnerability. Some of the best conversations and friendships begin in those simple moments of creating side by side.

Orange Blossom Retreats was designed for people who crave that feeling. People who are burnt out, overwhelmed, creatively disconnected, or simply looking for space to breathe and reset. Every retreat is intentionally created to feel welcoming, inspiring, and relaxed. A place where you can explore creativity without judgment, connect with like-minded people, and experience wellness in a way that feels genuine and enjoyable.

Rooted in the beauty of Napa Valley, our retreats combine art, wellness, exceptional hospitality, and intentional experiences designed to help guests slow down and reconnect with what brings them joy. No experience is needed, no artistic background is expected, and nothing has to be perfect.

At the heart of it all is the belief that creativity belongs to everyone. Sometimes we just need the space to rediscover it.
